About Erin
From swinging jazz to blues and soul, Erin Krebs lights up the stage with electrifying performances that reflect her genuine passion and zest for life. A celebrated artist in the Wisconsin music scene, Erin has been honored with ten Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards, including Jazz Artist of the Year (2025, 2023, 2018) and Female Vocalist of the Year (2019). Her artistry is recognized well beyond the Badger State: she is a proud voting member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMY®️ Awards).
Erin's love for music was evident early on. By age three, she was belting out songs on tabletops. A Southern Wisconsin native, she earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from UW-Oshkosh and spent a decade teaching music in the classroom before shifting her focus to private lessons and the stage.
Today, Erin leads her own jazz group, fronts the blues and soul powerhouse Mama Ginger & the Red Hots, and collaborates with Oshkosh's Water City Jazz Orchestra. She's also a regularly featured guest with acclaimed ensembles across the Fox Valley and beyond. And that's not all, there's a new musical venture in the works behind the scenes. Stay tuned!
Her discography includes the award-winning album Brighter Days, and her debut alum of all-original music — Love Always Wins, both distributed by Sun Goose Records based in Oshkosh, WI.
From tabletop performances at age three to stages across the Midwest and beyond, one thing has never changed: when Erin Krebs sings, people listen — and they leave smiling.
